Defensive hardening, by Offensive means.
WireGhostX is a cybersecurity research and experimentation project focused on defensive hardening through offensive-minded testing.
My work centers on threat hunting, digital forensics and incident response, detection engineering, deception engineering, adversary emulation, network security, and the analysis of emerging threats and attack techniques. Concentrated on understanding how systems fail under real-world conditions, and using that knowledge to improve visibility, resilience, and response.
The site also serves as a home for selected research, lab projects, technical experiments, and observations from years spent working across security operations, infrastructure, and incident response.
Threat hunting, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, ransomware investigations, adversary tracking, endpoint telemetry analysis, and rapid triage across Windows and Linux environments.
Detection and Deception engineering, SIEM and XDR development, behavioral analytics, security automation, log correlation, threat intelligence integration, network visibility, and defensive control validation.
Penetration testing, adversary emulation, attack-path analysis, credential and authentication testing, reconnaissance, controlled exploitation, and offensive techniques used to identify weaknesses before they are abused.
Research into ransomware, emerging threat actors, AI security, security architecture, detection gaps, attack techniques, and experimental approaches to defensive hardening.
